APPLICATION OF BIOGENE PREPARATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF EFFICIENCY OF BOARS

The article represents data on studying the influence of Permait and Kaltsefit-5 on sperm quality and productivity of boars, growing up in the geochemical conditions of the center of the Chuvash Republic. Experimentally proved that the andrology and productivity effects were more expressed in the combined use of Permait with Kaltsefit-5, rather than one Permait.

In the industrial pig farming there is a problem of getting more semen of high quality. The influence of feeding on semen quality of boars is stronger than that of sires of other animals. Violations in feeding of boars is accompanied by a decrease of fertility of sows and the deterioration of the viability of posterity [1, 11].
Natural zeolites reduce the environmental burden on living organisms, but the enrichment of Trepel with organic compounds of microelements and biologically active substances of plants and animals will give an opportunity to improve the efficiency of their use [2, 10].
In this connection the aim was to study the semen quality and productivity of boars using Permait and Kaltsefit-5 in the geochemical conditions of the center of Chuvashia.
On the basis of objective research, for solution of the problem the following tasks have been put forward:
1. To study the influence of Permait and Kaltsefit-5 on semen quality of boars contained in the geochemical conditions of the Chuvash center.
2. Evaluate the productivity of boars contained with Permait and Kaltsefit-5 in the geochemical conditions of the Chuvash center.
Materials and methods. Work done on pig farm of agricultural enterprise «Red Chuvashia» Yantikovo District of the Chuvash Republic and the research laboratory of biotechnology and experimental biology from Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after I. Y. Yakovlev.
The mineral composition of soil of «Red Chuvashia» is characterized by low level of iodine, manganese, molybdenum, assimilable forms of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which determines the deficit of these elements in all links of biogeochemical food chain [5].
A series of scientific and economic experiments were held, using 30 weaned-boars of breed «Landrace», for which they were selected by taking into account the clinical and physiological state of breed, age, sex, live weight, for 10 animals in each group. Investigations were carried out against the background of balanced feeding on the basic parameters in accordance with the provisions and ration [6].
Boars of the first group (control) of 1 – 360-days-old (duration of studies) contained in the basic ration (BR). Animals of the second group of 60- and 120-days-old, against a background of basic ration, were daily fed with Permait (drug based on Trepel, containing Zeolite of Alatyr layer of the Chuvash Republic. Ingredients: oxide silicon, calcium, aluminum, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese; microelements-copper, manganese, molybdenum, fluorine, boron) in a dose of 1,25 g / kg body weight (BW).
To pigs of the third group on the background of the BR and Permait, in the afore-mentioned doses and period of time were, since 60 to 180-day age, in addition appointed Kaltsefit-5 (mineral feed supplement, Russia, St. Petersburg. Ingredients: calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulphur, iron, copper, manganese, iodine, silicon, bone meal in ratios that are optimal for growth and development of an organism) at a dose of 5 g per 10 kg BW.
Hogs of 180- and 360-days of age were conducted to determine the quality of semen: volume of ejaculate, mobility, and number of normal, abnormal and immature sperm cells [8]. Productivity of breeding boars was estimated on the quality of the posterity [9].
The received digital data were processed by variational statistics using the criterion (t) by Student. Evaluation of significant differences between mean values were carried out with accurate probability 95% (P<0,05) [7].
Results and discussion. Qualitative indicators of sperm of hogs are presented in Table 1. It is revealed that on ejaculate volume male pigs of the second and third group at the age of 180 and 360 days exceeded analogs of control group accordingly on 9,7 – 16,3 (P>0,05) and 24,1 – 29,8% (P<0,05). Thus in this indicator was more on 7,3 – 7,5% (P<0,05) in favor of male pigs fed with Permait and Kaltsefit-5.
It is established that the mobility indicator of sperm cells in tests of ejaculate of male pigs of the third group at the age of 180 and 360 days exceeded that of the second and especially the first group on 2,5 – 7,6 (P>0,05) and 12,1 –12,3% (P<0,05).
During the investigated age periods animals of the second group also surpassed the analogs from the first group in the given zootechnical indicator on 10,1 (P<0,05) and 4,8% (P>0,05).

Qualitative indicators of sperm of male pigs

Concentration of sperm cells throughout observations at male pigs of skilled groups was above rather than that at their control contemporaries on 28,6 – 31,3% (P<0,05).
The quantity of pathological and immature sperm cells in assays of male pigs of control group at the age of 180 and 360 days was significantly greater than at manufacturers of the second and third group on 19,1 – 29,5 and 19,1 – 29,5% (P<0,05). Thus the minimum maintenance of pathological and immature cells is observed at male pigs of the third group both at the age of 180 and at the age of 360 days.
Formation of sperm cells and a seed liquid, a corf and a coitus at male pigs are interfaced to their big requirement for various vitamins, micro and macroelements. The disadvantage of these substances conducts to deterioration of sperm cells that causes weakening of pre-natal growth and viability of pigs. The use of forages grown up on acidic soils and soils poor with microelements can become principal causes of hypomicroelementoze.
So, combined appointment of Permait and Kaltsefit-5 has rendered more significant influence on spermiogenesis. The corresponding effect can be explained by presence of Kaltsefit-5 iodine in a drug that is compounded with the data received before by A. Bulgakov (2004) [3].
At a simultaneous use of Permait and Kaltsefit-5, a positive action of the following components of biogenic preparations is observable: calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, iodine, zinc; the disadvantage of which negatively influences on quantity and quality of a semen [4].
Thus in both cases Permait raises forage conversion, improves bowel, allowing it to soak up better organic and a significant amount of mineral substances.
Thus, it is established that in geochemical conditions of the center of Chuvashia an appointment of Permait and Kaltsefit-5 to young male pigs against BR has had stimulating influence on andrologic profile of an organism.
And andrologic effect on animals was more expressed in the conditions of combined application of Permait with Kaltsefit-5 rather than of Permait.
Results according to efficiency of male pigs are presented in table 2. Higher multiple pregnancy is noticed at sows inseminated with sperm of the male pigs receiving Permait with Kaltsefit-5, which is higher than that of females from the first and second groups, respectively: to 16,8 and 1,1% (P<0,05). Thus the average detachable mass of one pig was higher at posterity from sows of the second and third group – 18,1±1,34 and 18,9±1,04 kg, that is authentically was higher, than that of the pigs received from sows of the first group on 5 and 9% (P<0,05).

Indicators of an estimation of efficiency of male pigs by method of control feeding of posterities

Gilts of the second and third groups are characterized by high precocity and superior analog controls on the length of the carcass, respectively, 4 and 17 days and 0,6 and 3 cm. In this case, feed consumption per 1 kg of body weight decreased by 0,16 and 0,57 for food units (P>0,05).
It is noticed that the gilts of the second and third groups had an advantage on mass back third of semihulk as compared with that of control animals on 0,6 – 3,0%, while the thickness of the backfat was less than the analogs of control group (P>0,05).
Live mass of a nest at 2-month's age at sows of the second and third groups is higher on 6,7 – 24,7% in comparison with indicators of control group (Р<0,05). In this case, by the time of weaning (2-month age), greater number of increase was observed in females inseminated with sperm of boars receiving Permait and Permait together with Kaltsefit-5 (P<0,05).
The obtained results show that filling the lack of micro-and macroelements, associated with the geochemical characteristics of the central zone of Chuvashia and which are reflected in the chemical composition of crops used in animal feeding, positively influences on the quality and quantity of sperm.
Thus, the use of sperm of boars, which have been grown up using Permait and Permait together with Kaltsefit-5, for artificial insemination of sows improves reproduction of sows, early growth, energy of growth, meat quality of offspring and feed conversion. The most productive were gilts, received from the insemination of sows with semen of male pigs, grown up at joint application of Permait and Kaltsefit-5.
