In the Article discussed the modern processes taking place in the field of education imply a single integrated scheme of teaching. Most of the studies of social-economic problems, issues, phenomena and facts imply the integration of two or more academic disciplines, i.e. their synergy. We may consider the possibility of applying the gained results to the branches and methods engaged in the process of study as the fact of synergy. At this point the education reform undertaken in Georgia has resulted in thorough changes. The teaching is integrated in two ways, On the one hand, it is the use of different technologies, methods and forms of teaching and it is the integration of several teaching disciplines around the study topic(s) on the other hand, the proved modern course of teaching has demonstrated that both approaches are merged in the way to form a single and qualitatively new method (approach). This is why the comparison of the existing diversified teaching methods and ways and their adequate use for a concrete discipline is important.
Keywords: Interdisciplinary integral education, first level - Bachelor's degree

The XXI century offers intense scientific researches and cooperation to the educated society. The modern processes taking place in the field of education imply a single integrated scheme of teaching. Quite a great proportion of branches of learning are an organic association of several branches. This is particularly true with public and social (including the economic) sciences. The study problems are considered in different aspects, and the generalization takes place within the limits of the major field, i.e. teaching is organized based on the consolidation of disciplines, and as a result making the scientifically proved and analyzed conclusions in a concrete file field become possible. The integration processes have demonstrated unilaterally that without experience sharing no progress or thorough development is possible, and the specialization must be combined with the disciplines with adjacent and general fundamentals.
Most of the studies of social-economic problems, issues, phenomena and facts imply the integration of two or more academic disciplines, i.e. their synergy. We may consider the possibility of applying the gained results to the branches and methods engaged in the process of study as the fact of synergy. Mutual reinforcement, comparison, revelation and use of one another’s capacities take place. In the final account, an interdisciplinary association is the realization of one active concrete project.1
The process of interdisciplinary teaching is considered in two directions - when there is a mutual assistance or assistance between them on the one hand and when the aspects of the study object are studied through the relevant disciplines.2 The first direction may be considered as a relatively more traditional one, while another approach means a close relation more, what on its turn, is demonstrated by such terms, as multidiscipline (Poly-Discipline), Inter-Discipline, cross-discipline, Trans-Discipline.
A multidisciplinary study in two or more directions has become topical in recent decades. The fact of formation of multidisciplinary groups and societies is logical; the members of the groups or societies differ with different knowledge, concepts and degree of mastering the methods and qualification.3 In addition, interdisciplinary projects are also developed.
The integrated discipline implies such a use of at least two subjects in the teaching process, which allows for planning and organizing the scientific-practical works around the topic. The realization of such works yields proper result(s). As an illustration, we may cite one of the disciplines developed in the field of economics and business, which is econometrics. Econometrics is the unity of the economic theory, mathematics and statistics, i.e. the given science was originated based on three disciplines (by the unity of the three components), and a new discipline was formed, which researches the economic relations with the qualitatively new approach.4 In line with the requirements of modern economic studies, the methods of econometrics have been developed to date. The area of their use constantly widens. Econometrics is the science oriented on practical studies, and therefore, besides the listed branches of science, the understanding of the methods of informational technologies and data processing is also necessary. Therefore, when setting and solving some social-economic objective, the economic, statistical and information knowledge will be combined and the proper outcome will be gained.
The process of studying econometrics as that of a discipline first starts by analyzing the theoretical issues and methods. Then, the peculiarities of its practical realization are reviewed in respect of obtaining and processing the data and using the information technologies. The information technologies on their turn, may be considered in respect of relatively widely used (Excel, Access), as well as specialized (SPSS, Stata, Eviews, SAS, Statistica) software. In fact, the econometrics and informational disciplines are integrated. By integration of these two disciplines a common aim is reached, which is the study of social-economic problems by maximally using the capabilities of modern information base and economic analysis.
The integrated interdisciplinary teaching will be realized either during the teaching semester, or according to individual topics or chapters, whichever is more purposeful. The proper curriculum is developed, which shows the place, role and reference outcomes of each discipline, and concretizes the obligations and responsibilities of every teacher. Most importantly, every issue is appropriately combined during the study so that a professor and a student both feel the integrity (synergy).
The selection of a pedagogical strategy, planning of efficient and reasonable activities and combining the information and communication technologies is worth of particular mentioning. Based on their liaison, the audit management is determined. It should be noted that in the absence of information technologies the realization of modern research becomes problematic, as the database is mostly quite extensive and the links to be studied and described are complex. The informational technology also includes the schemes, diagrams, graphs, multimedia, etc. for visual interpretation.
The practical work is undertaken both, individually and in group. Sometimes, it is undertaken as independent work, while mostly it is interactive. Following the reasonability, practical and sometimes theoretical trainings are held in laboratories. At the final stage of considering the theoretical and practical material, a presentation of the project work by using various digital techniques and e-tools takes place.
The integrated interdisciplinary approach to teaching facilitates the conceptual approach to the education with the major accent not on gathering or remembering the information, but mastering the conscious knowledge possible to use in different fields.
It should be noted that the teaching methods in the current period are much problematic. Because of the past and ongoing change of the aims and priorities of the secondary and higher education, new syllabi, curricula, teaching forms and methods to be oriented on greater flexibility and swift adaptation ability are being developed. The teaching process must be more integrated as a whole and its development must be considered on the background of the unity of aims. According to the new educational concept, the main thing is the skill to use the knowledge so that a student is able to use the gained knowledge reasonably in the scientific, research and practical work. However, it should be noted at this point that the education reform undertaken in Georgia has resulted in thorough changes, and the measures of the future must be even easier to realize for students and teachers. The organization and management of the teaching process is to be perfected gradually. This will be followed by the development and introduction of new pedagogical technologies, with the integrated interdisciplinary teaching as one of its major components. The integrated interdisciplinary teaching helps to comprehend the study object as a whole.
Following the above reasoning, the teaching is integrated in two ways. On the one hand, it is the use of different technologies, methods and forms of teaching and it is the integration of several teaching disciplines around the study topic(s) on the other hand. The proved modern course of teaching has demonstrated that both approaches are merged in the way to form a single and qualitatively new method (approach). In our opinion, such an approach is close to reality, as in modern terms, the integration forms an objective basis to integrate teaching methods and different disciplines. This is why the comparison of the existing diversified teaching methods and ways and their adequate use for a concrete discipline is important. The process of comparison is quite individual and first of all depends on the teachers’ experience, views and aims what enables the teachers and professors to apply a creative approach. Both, the system of education and pedagogical science should meet the modern requirements. The teachers having mastered the advanced teaching methods and students will be able to realize the interdisciplinary teaching more easily.

Dear Nino and Rusudan, I

Dear Nino and Rusudan, I agree with you that the teaching methods in the current period are too problematic. I like the article and wish you success to use this method in practise.

integrated interdisciplinary teaching

The integrated interdisciplinary teaching exist already in many countries and I’m very happy to see that this method will be also used in Georgia. I liked your article and wish you success to integrate this method.

Dear Keti

Thank you for your wishes and estimate

Your research relevant and of great interest

Indeed, modern society has set before us the special requirements for methods and content of training. This, of course, makes it necessary to use a synergistic approach. For bachelors and masters in the field of documentation and information activities, the teachers of our department is also developing a new discipline, which differ in the presence of several components

Thank you for your opinion Tatiana Leonidovna.

Interdisciplinary integral education

Dear Nino and Rusudan! I agree with you, that the integrated interdisciplinary approach to teaching facilitates the conceptual approach to the education with the major accent not on gathering or remembering the information, but mastering the conscious knowledge possible to use in different fields. We are also exploring these processes and we have big problems in it. First of all it concerns the contradiction between the aim, tasks, methods of integration and the modern curriculums of academic disciplines. Do you have an example of the practical use of a new method? I mean new curriculum of the integrated university academic discipline.

Dear Oleksandr Eduardovich

Thank you for responding to our article. We have developed a training program, which includes discipline: “Econometrics” and "Information Technology". We gradually tested this method bachelor's and in the near future we want - to master.

It is very interesting.

It is very interesting. I would like to read it. If it is real, send me, please, the text of your training program. My e-mail: sasha1@host.kr.ua

Dear Oleksandr Eduardovich

We have already sent on your e-mail requested programs and will be glad for further collaboration.
