Layout requirements

The article can be written in one of the conference working languages. The text of the article and brief information about the author will be presented on the Internet site www.icp-ua.com.

The text of the article, list of references and all necessary information about the author(s) needs to be sent to the e-mail address: vplehanova@aunion.info in the form of a text file *.doc attached to the letter marked "for the conference".

In case the text of the article has pictures, each picture needs to be sent in a separate file in *jpg format to the e-mail address: vplehanova@aunion.info. These files are necessary for printing the pictures in the digest of conference materials.

Requirements for the layout of the conference material

  • 1. The size of the article including illustrations and tables mustn’t be more than 7 typescript pages.
  • 2. Paper size: A4 – 210x297 mm;
  • 3. Right, left, top and bottom margins – 20 mm each;
  • 4. Type – Times New Roman;

  • 6. Line spacing – 1,5;
  • 7. Alignment – justified (word hyphenation is not allowed, there should be only one space between the words);
  • 8. Indentation – 10 mm;
  • 9. Shortening of words (except generally accepted – shortening of mathematical variables, measures, terms etc.) is not allowed;
  • 10. All pictures, diagrams, graphs, charts and tables should be inserted into the text strictly within the above-mentioned page size. Tables should be compact, have a name, and their heading must accurately correspond to the contents of the columns. Before the word "Table" and after it a line is not skipped, after a table number and its name there is no full stop. After the table one line is skipped.

Pictures’ names are typed right under the pictures, without skipping a line. After the name of the picture there is no full stop. After the name of the picture one line is skipped.

The sequence of placing the material

In the 1st line UDC should be typed (if there is) – left alignment, without indentation, in bold Roman type.
The 2nd line remains blank.
In the 3rd line the name of the article is typed – in bold Roman type, all letters are capital, centered alignment (without indentation).
The 4th line remains blank.
In the 5th line surname, name and patronymic of the author(s) should be typed, enumerating (using commas) the author’s academic degree, academic rank (here generally accepted abbreviations can be used) or other status of the author (doctoral candidate, postgraduate, degree-seeking student, research scholar, student etc.) – in bold Roman type, centered alignment (without indentation).
The 6th and 7th lines remain blank.
In the 8th line there is an annotation in the language of the article – full justification (indented), italic type, the word "Annotation" should not be written.
Key words (from 5 to 10 words) are typed below the annotation, without skipping a line. The phrase “Key words” should be typed using: bold italic type, full justification, with indentation.
Below the English variant of the annotation is typed – full justification (indented), italic type, the word «Annotation» should not be written.
Then without skipping a line key words are printed in English (from 5 to 10 words). To write the phrase “Key words” use bold italic type, full justification, indentation.
After the annotation one line remains blank.
Further the text of the article is typed (no more than 7 pages).
After the text of the article one line is skipped.
In the next line the word "Bibliography" is typed (indented) – bold Roman type, full justification, with indentation. After it there is a colon.

Under the word "Bibliography" without skipping a line, literary (and electronic) sources used in the article are enumerated – full justification, with indentation (10 mm).Literary sources in the bibliography are numbered in order they are cited in the text; the reference number in the text itself is typed in square brackets, for example: [1] or [2; 3; 4; 5]; if necessary, numbers of specific pages can be added, for example: [7, pp. 23-27] or [3, pp. 43-45; 5, p. 268].

On the next page after the Bibliography, information about the author(s) of article is typed:

  • 1. Surname, name and patronymic (without shortening) of the author in the language of the article and in English;
  • 2. Academic degree, academic rank (or a postgraduate, a degree-seeking student etc.) in the language of the article and in English;

In case the author cannot translate the annotation of his or her material into English, this work can be done by the organizing committee at extra cost.

Articles which do not correspond to the prescribed design will not be included in the conference program and published in the digest.

English versions of theses of the conference materials are sent to foreign partners for review and publication.

The term of publication of the material is 2 months starting from the end of the conference.
